"Mac" the All-American Boy

"Mac," the All-American Boy sets out to DO something with his life circa WWII. This is one of a set of 25 photos use to promote the U.S. Navy and I suppose also as a memento for soldiers to send their family's without disclosing their location. As they used to say: "loose lips sink ships" Most of them are fairly mundane but I really enjoy this one particularly for the dramatic lighting and the Grecian physiques. I got these from a friend and they came in a small windowed  envelope that was the same size and were sent for less than 5 cents if I remember correctly. Wow, I still <3 collecting these old photos.

"MAC" IS STRONG ENOUGH TO CARRY SHELLS
